Mann McGowan Installations was formed in 2000 to meet requests from clients and architects insisting that Mann McGowan Fabrication's advanced intumescent products be installed to the company's own demanding high standards.

 

 


Since its formation, the company has successfully completed contracts from high street banks, major property developers and local councils. Below you will find examples of completed projects; click on the image to download the associated project sheet.

Mann McGowan Installations specialises in the upgrading of existing internal fire resisting doors, installing Pyrovista fire resisting glazed screens and installing linear gap and service penetration seals.

We have undertaken a large number of projects on behalf of clients such as Quadron, Lloyds TSB, Alfred McAlpine, Bellway Homes, Punch Taverns, Mouchel Parkman, Toni and Guy, Felton's, Citadines Hotels, Leadenahall Court, Royal Festival Hall.

Mann McGowan Installations can also advise on complying with fire some aspects of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, which includes fire safety - and pending CE marking of fire doors and windows.

Education, education, education
Mann McGowan’s Pyrovista System met the challenge set for The Hallam University in Sheffield.The full height screens needed to provide 60 minutes integrity and insulation. Pilkington Pyrostop glass was used to glaze the screens, in conjunction with Pyroglaze seals.The screens also had to be secondary glazed to provide good acoustic performance and also house intergral blinds for privacy. The bottom glass panels were also etched to provide additional obscured vision effect.

 

Ever Hopeful Merseysiders
Liverpool Hope University recently underwent a refurbishment designed by Brook Carmichael in conjunction with the Kier Group. We were called in to purpose design the the 30/30 minute fire resisting glazed screens in accordance with our PYROVISTA® glazed screen system. Not only did we underatke the fixing of the glass screens, we also manufactured and installed veneered panelling within the screen to provide an unusual finsish

 

Roll over Beethoven
Opened in 1951 for the Festival of Britain, the Royal Festival Hall on London's south bank has just undergone a £91 million facelift. Our Firestile® fully glazed fire resiting doors were installed in various parts of the building including, The Saisson Library,The Suley Pavillion, The Green Bar and level 3 function room. The doors provide 30 minutes fire integrity and were glazed with 6mm clear fire resiting glass.

 

99 Banks Road Sanbanks Poole
This residential area overlooking the sea has been redevloped to the highest standard. We installed a 30 minute Pyrovista® screen using 3 large panes of glass all butt-jointed together. Also within the screen a fully glazed Firestile® door was installed. The purpose of this was to provide 30 minutes integtrity and insulation to the staircase.
