ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL
Built in 1951 for the Festival of Britain, the Royal Festival Hall on London's South Bank recently underwent a £91M face lift. We are proud that our Firestile® 30 fully glazed fire resisting doors were used in a number of public areas, including The Saison Library and Sunley Pavilion. The doors have Jatoba glazing beads, some of which were french polished at the client's request. All the doors were glazed with 6mm Pyran Fire Resisting Glass using Pyroglaze® glazing seals, and all fitted with our Certifire approved Pyrostrip® intumescent fire, cold smoke and acoustic seals.
THE PERFECT VISTA
A recent residential development at Sandbanks overlooking the Peninsular on the South Coast has been completed. The Pyrovista® glazed screen, complete with fire resisting butt joints between 3 panes of glass and a Firestile® door, provides 30 minutes integrity and insulation. This screen encloses the staircase leading from the second floor up to the third floor terrace.
