Since its foundation in 1977, Mann McGowan has been at the forefront of intumescent technology, continuously investing in the development of new products and technologies to meet the ever-growing demand for improved fire resistance - and the challenges thrown down by changing building materials and techniques.

Pioneering intumescent seal encapsulation in 1977, Mann McGowan set the standards that are still in use in the building and construction industries today. This key technology - often imitated but never bettered by the competition - underpins the company's current product seals range.

Today, Mann McGowan has an unrivalled global reputation for its advanced intumescent technology, as shown by installations in such prestigious UK locations as the Houses of Parliament, Windsor Castle and the Victoria and Albert Museum, and as far afield as Hong Kong Airport.

Mann McGowan is a founder member of the Intumescent Fire Seals Association and plays a major role in the Glass and Glazing and British Woodworking Federations.
