This project was completed in July 2006 and required a number of Pyrovista ® 30 fire screens, the biggest of which measured over 14 metres long and almost 3 metres in height.
This large screen was installed to provide 30 minutes integrity in accordance with BS 476.
Another screen was built to provide similar fire resistance between the gymnasium and the swimming pool area.
All the screens were glazed with 6mm Pyroshield safety glass using Pyroglaze® seals, both products have Warrington Certifire 3rd party accreditation.
