Jamie Scott

Managing Director

Jamie joined the company in 2002 to follow in his father’s footsteps. Having worked in all areas within the business he has developed the skill sets to improve and enhance every department, and his drive and ambition rubs off on everyone he works with.

Jamie’s dream of owning and managing Mann McGowan became a reality in 2015. With the acquisition of Mann McGowan by the Saverto Group in December 2023, Jamie retained his role as Managing Director, and it is still his vision for the future of the company that is the driving force. The introduction of new manufacturing equipment, innovative new products, a growing team and his attitude to continual improvement galvanises Mann McGowan as market leaders now and for the future.

Russell Smith

Technical Manager

As Technical Manager Russell draws on his knowledge and experience from more than 40 years’ working in the company. He has been involved in most areas of the business including production, product development and sales, as well as overseeing on-site installations.

Russell’s expertise is critical in leading the fire and acoustic testing programme which is central to driving Mann McGowan to the forefront of the industry.

Lucy Scott

General Manager

Having previously worked for Mann McGowan in the sales/admin office for 5 years, Lucy left to pursue a career in Accountancy.

Upon the successful management buyout in 2015, Lucy returned to the company to support Jamie in his drive and vision to make Mann McGowan the market leaders.

Lucy’s experience and skills gained in both Practice and Industry are invaluable to the company.

Tim Foster

Sales Manager

Tim joined Mann McGowan at the start of 2021, bringing sales and marketing experience from within the passive fire protection industry in both the UK and global markets.

Tim’s career also includes sales success in manufacturing and service industries worldwide within construction, automotive, motorsport and aerospace.

Courtney Bassett

Internal Sales Administrative Assistant

Since July 2019 Courtney has played an active role within the sales department liaising with customers on a daily basis as well as carrying out general administration jobs.

Courtney has completed the foundation level in the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) certificate of hardware and is now working towards stage 1.

Clare’s busy role sees her liaising with suppliers and customers, processing invoices and payments.

Clare joined us in the summer of 2023 after sixteen years the insurance industry, after feeling it was time for a change! She is a welcome addition to our fast-paced office.

Paul Haynes

Business Development Manager

Paul is our most recent addition to the sales team, starting his role as Business Development Manager in June 2025, working with new and existing accounts in the Midlands, North and Scotland.

Paul has extensive experience and a strong sales track record in the Architectural Ironmongery sector, primarily with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and brings another well-known face to our customers in the fire door manufacturing industry.

Eleanor Harvey

Business Development Executive

With a background in both retail and customer service, Ellie was looking to expand her sales experience and develop her career when she joined us at the beginning of 2025.

Ellie’s role involves engaging with customers and prospects primarily through Teams, telephone and email, alongside supporting both the external sales team and the technical department, building her knowledge of both our products and the passive fire protection industry.
